How long before you can put a fork in it?[edit]

I see there's still a "stub tag" on this article, but the thing seems more substantial than a stub. Any rationale? Should the tag be removed? Or is there vastly more to say about Scavullo? I've made a compromise in the quality assessment on the template. Pinkville 03:56, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Education[edit]

The article says that he graduated from high school in 1945, so he was 24 years old then. How could that be? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.95.165.142 (talk) 14:03, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good question, and after nearly 10 years it seems nobody has come up with an answer. Perhaps the claim was invented to harmonize with the bogus 1929 birthdate? Shortly after his death in 2004, his tribute from the Lucie Awards explicitly said: "Scavullo never graduated from high school." Another encyclopedia asserts with more detail: "He received his elementary education at Cathedral School and attended Saint Francis Xavier High School but never graduated." So, I just removed the dubious HS graduation claim from this Wikipedia article. Belated thanks for the math alert! —173.68.139.31 (talk) 05:14, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Birthday[edit]

The article says he was born 1921, but reference 4 is pointing to an article that says he was born 1929. Who is right? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.128.2.141 (talk) 12:24, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The stone on his grave says "JAN. 16. 1921 - JAN. 6. 2004" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.69.152.208 (talk) 22:22, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
