Serbian?[edit]

Some people lie that his mother is Serbian. His mother Mary Stack was born to an Irish father (Stack) and Mary Lou Reuter. His father seems to be Polish. Where is the Serbian lie coming from? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.29.174.189 (talk) 00:35, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Played in Serb National Federation (SNF) Basketball Tournaments[edit]

  • Frank Kaminsky III is 1/4 Serbian (his paternal grandmother being ethnic Serb). His father's (Frank Kaminsky Jr) mother is Serbian and apparently some newspapers in Serbia erroneously reported that Frank III's mother is Serbian.
  • Frank III played in Serb National Federation (SNF) Basketball Tournaments in various divisions from early 2000s to at least 2008. Here's the photo dated April 2004 which Frank posted on his official Instagram profile on August 8, 2013 https://www.instagram.com/p/cwgwPSDLgM/
  • He played for the Serbian Eagles A.C. team in 2008 in the Junior Boys Division and made the All-Tournament team (miscredited as Frank Kaminsky Jr instead of Frank Kaminsky III) http://djurovujatovic.angelfire.com/jboys.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.93.154.191 (talk) 08:08, 19 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

So he played for a Serbian team, that doesn't mean Serbian ancestry. Very convenient that his paternal grandmother's the Serbian one when we don't know her name to confirm. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.157.186.6 (talk) 22:21, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
