The proper designation of his P-boat was PC.61. PQ was only an informal name.

Take out the hyphen by removing the |adj=on from the template 22-foot (6.7 m)

Be sure to use PC.61, the period between them matters. Also you're using the ship's name far too often in close conjunction. I normally use a mixture of the name, "she" and "the ship" in rotation to keep from numbing repetition.
