Peer Review[edit]

Hi Sarah! Your outline looks really good so far. You may have already been thinking about these, but I just wanted to add a few things that might be important to include/elaborate on:
– Childhood influence, specifically growing up in a coal mining town, and how that impacted his style
– His view of gestural painting as a means to create physical form and presence
– Influence on the Minimalist sculptors

General suggestions for improvement[edit]

Nicely-written article. Fluidly written and well-cited. Still a few suggestions:

  • some missing citations
  • would love to see a slightly more in-depth discussion of 1-2 well-known or particularly influential works; this *would give the article depth
  • needs copy editing and cleanup, especially for economy of language and diction (for example, "This exploration back to color-use was still in development when Kline died in 1962"). Aolivex (talk) 18:25, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
