Citations[edit]

I've added inline citations to the biography section, and removed the no footnotes template. But the Works section is still problematic, and I've added a "more complete citations needed" template there. Specifically there is no information beyond title and date to indicate the source. Are these books, sections of books, or articles in journals? Are they in any library holdings or bibliographic database? Where did this list of works come from? For a couple of them (the last two, for 1806) I have identified possible sources in the Ephemerides Astronomicae, but the titles are not identical, and these could be separate articles or reports that have been summarised in the Ephemerides. I've checked German WP, but there's no more information there. University of Vienna has an entry for Tabulae Martis, but nothing else. Kognos (talk) 09:36, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The plot has thinned a little, because on checking the Ephem. Vindob. for 1806 I see that the appendix titles given on the title page do agree with those in the articles. (The ones I was looking at were the ones at the beginnings of each appendix article.) So I'm reasonably confident that references to the Ephemerides are accurate for these articles at least. I'll add details and full-text links for the items I can find. Kognos (talk) 14:10, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
