Chronology is wrong

Has anyone actually seen Dinosaur, the movie in which Savage supposedly starred in 1980. Well, I saw that movie many times as a child (the version I owned was actually called Dinosaurs!, not Dinosaur), and there was NO FRIGGIN WAY that it was shot in 1980.

He's definintely a schoolboy, age 9-10, NOT a 4 year-old toddler. I know on his IMDB bio it reads, "he began acting at age 4 in the movie Dinosaur (1980)," but anyone who's seen the movie can tell you this is hogwash. Either that film did not come out in 1980, or perhaps the scenes with Savage were added much later.

You might believe I'm talking about 2 different movies, but the movie I saw definitely matches the description of Dinosaur found on Wikipedia and elsewhere--the film involving claymation and a boy who has to give a report on dinosaurs at school. Think about it--would the primary character in a plot centering around a boy giving a report at school be played by a 4 year-old?.

You are completely right. In fact the claymation parts are from 1980, but the live action parts are from the late 80s (i think 87) and Savage filmed them at 11. Arthurian Legend 14:58, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

No homepage...

Many have asked why put anything in the "homepage" section of the actors' bio box if there is no official website?

Why not? 2 reasons.

First, it saves the user a lot of wasted time on search engines looking for one.

Second, it gives the impetus for these poeple to get an official website!

'Nuff said?

Ethnicity?

Any reliable information about Fred Savage's ethnicity? Siyavash 20:30, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

DEAD???

Is he really dead? That must be wrong, IMDB doesnt say that he is dead.

I saw online he's dead too, but I don't know if he is or not... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.0.34.26 (talk) 05:34, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

Fred was in an episode of Seinfeld

Could this be added?

Hair movement

No mention of his trademark eyebrow-lift-which-shifts-the-entire-scalp-backward?

Kim Possible

He was a voice talent credited in an Episode of Kim Possible Season 2 "Go Team Go", but I'm not sure which persona he took

Why?

Why does he looks like a kid on the picture on this article? If you can calculate he should be 31 by now, so that image doesn't look valid to me. Just a drop-by comment. TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 01:10, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

The picture of him is from 1989, but strangely he was active since 1982, when he was 6. Weird. —Coastergeekperson04's talk@12/20/2007 01:38
This image would be fine, if it were 1989. But we are in 2009 now. He is an adult now, and if we are to have a picture of him, in the article, the picture should represent him as an adult. Fighting for Justice (talk) 17:37, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

How's this? http://www.tvjab.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/fredsavage.jpg Disturbed286 (talk) 07:29, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

I agree this article needs a current picture, and I like the one you've linked to, assuming it is copyright compatible. John Milito (talk) 03:44, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Ghost World

This credits him as being in Ghost World (2008), but I can't find him listed anywhere on IMDB as being in a movie by that name, and he definitely wasn't in the 2001 film Ghost World. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.162.95.175 (talk) 18:09, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

DOB of non notable minors.

I removed the exact dob of non notable minor. What do others think? Thank you, --Malerooster (talk) 21:34, 30 November 2012 (UTC)

I also posted at the BLP board. --Malerooster (talk) 21:52, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
I don't know if policy dictates it necessarily, but I think the removal sounds like a good idea because the article honestly doesn't need that level of detail regarding the subject's children. The years of birth are good enough. Against the current (talk) 21:59, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
