Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because the entire contents were written by myself.

I have used several different sources, including the highlighted link, to provide information on dates, numbers etc but have not copied text. These sources are clearly referenced.

Since the initial concern was raised I have gone through and conducted a line-by-line re-write of any areas where there may be even the remotest danger of copyright infringement.

The article on which the original concern arose is an obituary. Any remaining similarity therefore reflects the fact that the subject matter of the wikipedia page and the article are the same by nature - i.e. the life of Sir Frederick Wood. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mickeyfreddiewood (talkcontribs) 14:36, 21 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Update on copyright concerns and close connection tag[edit]

I have created the content for this page, and have worked with several admins/editors to ensure that it meets copyright concerns. I can therefore categorically state that the text contained within it my propriatory work, obviously created on behalf of the wikipedia project.

I note that someone has put a tag concerning close connection with the subject matter. There is some truth to this and I do invite anyone to check the content and style are consistent with all objective views - the best of these are probably the obituaries printed in national UK newspapers (referenced within the article) and the information section of the Croda International website, to which I have no connection whatsoever. I invite anyone to do so in the next week after which time I propose to remove this flag.90.204.225.50 (talk) 07:11, 22 September 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Loriendrew (talkcontribs) [reply]

Close connection tag removal[edit]

I have removed the close connection tag - per my message above. I still invite anyone who wishes to challenge the content of the article (with supporting evidence) to do so Mickeyfreddiewood (talk) 16:16, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
