Needs update[edit]

Parts of this article are outdated, esp on the new stadium, eg, its construction status as of September 2019, January 2020, and June 2020. Those three statements should be replaced with a completion date, whatever it was. Sullidav (talk) 21:24, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Maybe so, but the para on stadium construction ended in June 2020 with construction ongoing, leaving the reader hanging and implying that the stadium was not yet ready for use. I tried to fix that, adding that the stadium has evidently been in use for most of 2 seasons now (regardless of whether its construction is formally complete) and was renamed this year, plus another wikilink to the stadium page with its current name.

I still think its construction status as of three particular dates, all more than two years ago, is not illuminating or of particular interest now that the structure is in use. And whether it was complete in time for the 2020 season did not really matter once that season was cancelled - in effect, COVID extended that construction deadline. I think if kept at all these points could be rolled into one general statement along lines that construction took longer than anticipated, or was delayed, or whatever is accurate and explains whatever point the construction status on these dates is trying to convey (beyond "it's not ready yet", which was their implication and is no longer accurate). But you seem to disagree and I don't know the place, so I left those statements there.Sullidav (talk) 21:52, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
