Untitled[edit]

Clean up the page a bunch, by taking out tricks that are not freestyle tricks, took out stylistic comments, and fixed a few names.

There are quite a few tricks on here that are not generally concidered freestyle tricks: Bertslide wallride, coffin, fastplant, Firecracker, french maid, natas spin, sex change, skitch, wall plant, and wall ride. Also some of these tricks are made up(probably by this Nickolai Preiss person). They include 360 boneplant Buisnessman, and turn off. FInally there are a few tricks with names that are made up Flamingo/crane slide(calf wrap) and penguin tap(tic tac).

This article has been merged from skateboarding tricks, but still requires cleanup. --Liface 22:30, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Links?

So whats the difference between a peguin tap and a monster walk? the tricks could be moa bit more descriptive.

Manual or Wheelie? I notice the use of the term "manual" to describe riding down the street (or sidewalk or whatever) with two wheels up off the ground. I had always heard this trick called a "wheelie." On the other hand if you ollie up onto something into a wheelie, or roll out of a ramp or bowl into a wheelie, then that's a manual. Isn't it?

manual or wheelie?[edit]

in skateboarding when the front two wheels are off the ground it's reffered to as a manual and and when the back two wheels are off its considered a nose manual —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.66.221.210 (talk) 18:17, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

body varial[edit]

Would someone actually define / describe the term 'Body Varial' in the article please? This phrase re-directs to this page, and is mentioned by way of explaining another move, BUT is not itself described. TYK 71.188.238.36 (talk) 14:21, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

J-roll?[edit]

Anyone know anything more about this move? I am trying to find a video of it or Jon Mandrozos. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.50.111.231 (talk) 07:17, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hang Ten Manual[edit]

"One of the most difficult manual maneuvers is the Hang Ten Nosemanual" - this is not factual, and at the very least rather subjective! Msemtd (talk) 13:31, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Layout and clarity[edit]

I reorganized the layout a bit, putting some of the simpler tricks closer to the top of the article for context. I feel that this makes for a better read as an understanding of the simpler tricks is necessary to understand the complex combination tricks. I also grouped tricks which were variations together. Very basic terms are in Terminology at the top. Alternatively, if it is preferred to have the list alphabetical, it should probably be presented more like a glossary list.

Terminology needs a definition for wrap, scoop, varial, and airwalk, which are used but not explained elsewhere in the article.
