"Introduced to Rap"[edit]
I flagged the claim "The single was recorded after Ramone was in a drug treatment center where he was introduced to rap." as "dubious" because it was supported only by a blog entry which may or may not be accurate, and because Dee Dee Ramone was doubtless aware of rap and hip-hop long before 1987.
