RESURRECTION[edit]

If I may add, I'm lil shocked about why anybody around here hasn't checked Galneryus's official webpage(hotlinked below in the very same Galneryus article)'cause Resurrection's songs are already posted there. Would anybody update Wikipedia's data about that? The new album was released two days ago and so the webpage was updated as well. Kind regards. June 25th 2010

Project Assessment[edit]

A fine start, but I wonder if the subject would be made clearer by starting the article "Galneryus is a power metal band from Osaka, formed in X year..." Clear, explicit description of the subject as early in the article as possible is an important factor in assessing the quality of articles in my book. Thanks. Nocturnal Rites Influence?[edit]

It may sound ludicris but I've heard some Nocturnal Rites influences in Galneryus's music and by what I hear, Nocturnal Rites is pretty big in Japan. I've heard essences from that particular band along with the Sonata Arctica and X Japan styles. I think this would be an interesting note but I'm not completely sure. Would any of you agree?

Please, we need a photo of Galneryus' current line-up members. It's really needed. 112.203.197.249 (talk) 03:07, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Progressive metal as part of the genres of the band[edit]

Progressive metal should be added as one of genres of Galneryus. The guitarist of the band himself as mentioned in the article "has described the music of Galneryus as symphonic metal, classic metal and progressive metal".[1]
The band is also described as a progressive power metal band in a lot of reliable sources [2][3]
Their albums Ultimate Sacrifice[4], Into The Purgatory[5], Union Gives Strength[6] are all have Progressive metal as a one of the genres describing them.

Union Gives Strength classification?[edit]

I've not seen it classified as an EP before, so I added it under Studio Albums. While it shouldn't be under both, where's the confirmation that it's considered an EP? Length in minutes doesn't strike me as a good enough reason, seeing as it's over 40 minutes of new studio content.
