Galt's web page[edit]

Hi. I'd like to work with you to improve this article, but you can't just cut and paste Galt's web page bio here. It does not comply with Wikipedia style or content policies. Note that this is an encyclopedia, not a commercial site. It should basically read like an entry in the Encyclopedia Brittanica, except with hotlinks. Please see WP:V, WP:COI and WP:Five pillars. Since you have a conflict of interest regarding this page, you must defer to other editors. Let's work together to improve the current article. I can help you negotiate the Wikipedia style guidelines. Please also read the links that I sent you on your user discussion page. Best regards, -- Ssilvers (talk) 02:26, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I concur with Ssilvers here in that there is a distinct potential for a conflict of interest. The article should be encyclopedic, and not merely how Galt MacDermot would like it to read. We would possibly include material that Galt might not like but Wiki is independent and unbiased. You will need to work alongside other editors who can and will remove material that you have submitted because it is not encyclopedic. Jack1956 (talk) 07:01, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thomas Crown[edit]

Are you sure that "Coffee Cold" was heard in the 1968 movie Thomas Crown Affair » ? I saw this movie and I didn’t heard this music. Moreover, this movie does not appear on the MacDermot’s website. The only association I found between this music and this movie is a video posted on Youtube. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.210.233.198 (talk) 23:04, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Peak positions[edit]

On the Hot 100, "Hair" reached #2, not #1, and "Good Morning Starshine" reached #3, not #1. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.185.97.165 (talk) 13:28, 18 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Belated thanks. All three reached #1 on Canada RPM Top Singles, so I've added this wiki link to the article. —24.191.101.223 (talk) 08:09, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Canadian-American?[edit]

Hi all. Not quite sure he was American. Was he naturalised? And when? --Pequod76 (talk-ita.esp.eng) 23:58, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
