Separate Sub-section for "Torture"[edit]

Gao Zhisheng (born 1964) is a Chinese human rights attorney and dissident known for defending activists and religious minorities and documenting human rights abuses in China. Because of his work, Zhisheng has been disbarred and detained by the Chinese government several times, and severely tortured.

I think the structure of the lede is spot-on, and readability demands that there should be a specific section linked to from the lede about the torture Zhisheng was alleged to experience.Jonny Quick (talk) 05:18, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

To add to article: where is Gao Zhisheng now (as of April 2019)? 173.88.241.33 (talk) 19:13, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

His wife says the CCP executed him. See how the RCP did this to the Execution_of_the_Romanov_family for insights into how and why. https://www.theepochtimes.com/wife-of-chinas-conscience-gao-zhisheng-worries-he-has-been-murdered_3778103.html
