Gap of Dunloe Edits needed[edit]

Here is was what I have can someone with more experience with editing please edit and remove the incorrect information as it appears I broke a link with my edit and it was reverted.

I had removed information on the Gap of Dunloe Access that was incorrect. The sign in the photo was erected by Kerry County Council www.kerrycoco.ie and not jaunting car operators to mimic an official sign. The source used does not support this claim.

I removed the part where it says jaunting car operators are being accused of signs being illegally erected as this is not factually correct either and the reference used does not support or refer to signs being illegally erected. Daisy chain twine (talk) 21:39, 23 January 2021 (UTC)

@Daisy chain twine: you should use the Talk page at Talk:Gap of Dunloe to discuss what you feel is incorrect. Content in Wikipedia articles needs to be supported by reliable sources, see WP:V. My revert of your edit was because it broke the page layout, not whether the information is correct or not. @Daisy chain twine: I made some changes to that text (and sign image caption) to better reflect what the sources say and hopefully with a more neutral tone. The prior text did go beyond the sources in its claims. Declangi (talk) 23:38, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for making these changes. Daisy chain twine (talk) 01:31, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Amended the edits to clarify what the Lonely Planet guides say, which is that the sign is unofficial and misleading. They don't say who erected it (it seems to be inside some type of walled area). Britishfinance (talk) 16:23, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
