Shada[edit]

He wrote the novelisation of Shada, shouldn't this be included in his bibliography? 212.149.216.106 (talk) 13:53, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Transphobia"[edit]

The claim that Roberts's conduct "meets the definition" of "transphobia" is original research and inappropriate for Wikipedia. We cannot be the ones to decide that. The Wikipedia article can only present what secondary sources have said on the subject. However, even with the existence of sources that have made such a claim, the section title (which was "Transgender" without anyone complaining for a long time before an anonymous editor changed it to "Transphobia") is not the place for it; there is no space to put a citation or a balanced presentation of multiple views in a section title. That stuff belongs in the paragraph below, with the appropriate citations, and the section title must remain neutral. BLP issues are also implicated: we must be even more careful in this biography of a living person than we would be in some other article, to make sure that the encyclopedia does not take a position of its own. 2607:FEA8:129F:E389:0:0:0:8E3D (talk) 21:06, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Well no, -the controversy concerns his comments being called out as transphobic (which they very clearly objectively are, but whether or not you agree that is explicitly what the controversy is), calling it 'transgender controversy' makes it sound like the the concept of transgender is the thing that's controversial rather than his comments being transphobic.219.88.68.195 (talk) 00:38, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
He's transphobic. That is not in question. Only transphobes make transphobic comments, and he has. Hence, he's a transphobe. Ignorant hateful bigots are defined by the ignorant hateful bigotry they spew. He spews it in spades. He's a terrible person. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.196.162.105 (talk) 13:05, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
