As you have calmed down at last I suggest you start by explaining your reasons and evidence that the current wording you are unhappy with is incorrect here on the Talk Page. You need to provide a verifiable source or sources for your contention. Leave others to form and express a view and see where this goes. The current wording has a citation so it would not be appropriate to just delete it. Take things in stages and seek concensus. Please don't use sarcasm it just gets you nowhere, see Wikipedia:Civility and don't call me Dave by the way. On your search suggestion this is not how it works see Sources and Wikipedia:No original research#Primary, secondary and tertiary sources. In short, you need to find sound secondary sources as per these guidelines which back up your contentions and lay them out here so others can go and check them first. No need for the anger David, we all get made to look foolish at times, even myself on some occasions(!). I've found you some secondary sources you so desire, you may think that it was very hard work but don't worry, it was pretty simple. Almost anyone could have done it.

Comment via Wikipedia:Wikiquette alerts. It'd help calm things down to get to the sources. I'm pretty sure biography.jrank.org is not up to WP:RS standard: no indication of credentials or known reputation; it's just some website. On the other hand, newspaper sources are viewed as reliable, and it's not difficult to find ones - [1] - that show Trebilcock definitely pre-dates the claim for Crooks. Trouble is, the papers are divided on the matter, and others say Crooks [2]. While the latter are undoubtedly wrong - here are clippings [3] - I guess we have to report both versions. Sources for Trebilcock may be saying "black" when they mean "mixed-race." Common sense tells me that Trebilcock was the first mixed-race goalscorer and Crooks was the first black one. GiantSnowman 18:21, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
