This describes a coat of arms for "gas board". That seems odd, given there were 12 gas boards. Or did they all have the same coat of arms? For my understanding, a, if not the, main purpose of a coat of arms is to be distinctive. So I would find it odd if independent bodies shared one (and for my understanding, the gas boards were independent, even though they had similar responsibilities).2001:BB8:2002:2400:1865:AB1B:500:172C (talk) 19:19, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
