the "Frascilita" folk tune does not exist, the album actually samples a song named "La Vinnigna"[edit]
the sample that can be heard several times throughout the album is not titled "Frascilita". Looking up Frascilita on any search engine returns no results that are not related to Geek The Girl itself. Piero Scaruffi's biography of Germano[1] claims that the sample is actually a Sicilian folk tune named "La Vinnigna", several renditions of which can be found on YouTube (Scaruffi cites someone named Egidio La Rocca as a source, however i was unable to find said source). La Vinnigna's lead vocal melody is definitely similar to the Geek The Girl sample but i don't know if Scaruffi's biography can be used as a source. What's the best course of action here?
