deleted reference considerations?[edit]

I deleted a citation whose link was a source without any specific information related to the adjacent text. I suspect the url was erroneously pasted as the citation's other parameters matched a source used throughout the article.

I deleted it entirely because correcting the url to match the citation's other parameters would create a redundant citation as that source is already cited at the end of the sentence. I started this talk page section because I'm not sure if the url that was linked ( http://sites.duke.edu/dukeinlaramie/tag/gen-silent/ ) in the deleted reference is of use to the article otherwise. To avoid confusion, the webpage at http://sites.duke.edu/dukeinlaramie/tag/gen-silent/ does not say anything about the Duke Medical Center screening; rather, it's about a different screening at the UNC-Chapel Hill Friday Center.

I also wonder how we know that the Duke University Medical Center screening was for health care staff and that the Massachusetts House of Representatives screening was for lawmakers (as opposed to interns, etc). signed, a dumb newbie: Comm.unity (talk) 08:30, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
