What About House Of M?

Decen't job. But could someone Italic textplease add a summery of what happened in Thunderbolts House of M. Must know!

                                      -Sincerly,
                                       An intrested fan.

Cleanup[edit]

  • This article needs some fine-tuning. For example, it opened up, "When Rick's Destiny powers resurfaced...." This is an awful way to open an article. For one thing, Rick's full name isn't given. For another, it doesn't give any info on who the hell he is. Nor does it say what these "Destiny Powers" are, or where they came from, so it makes no sense to talk about them resurfacing when the article hasn't even established when they first surfaced. I fixed that first sentence, but that just scratches the surface; the rest of the article nees a more clear explanation of the elements it describes, as well as links to the ones that have featured articles of their own, since the body of the text currently has zero. • The New Thunderbolts section is just dreadful. I don't know enough to fix it!--Torourkeus 01:14, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I just realized how vague this point is - The section is extremely short and covers an incredibly large amount of information in relatively few words. I believe that was my biggest problem when I noticed it. --Torourkeus 19:02, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • The bit on Marvel repeatedly claiming that the original Captain Marvel won't be returning in Civil War: The Return sounds unfounded, needs citation.

I don't have time right now, but after adding the headings I noticed much of the expanded article was copyvioed from [1]. Could someone rip that out and, if possible, submit a shorter version? - SoM 13:46, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Mar-Vell[edit]

Is there a need for such a large Mar-Vell section? It really is only background. There's two paragraphs about the relationship between Mar-Vell and and Rick that isn't quite important to Genis. --Torourkeus 02:29, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Plurals and Possessives[edit]

Just a little thing. Genis is singular, so the posessive form is "Genis's." If Genis meant more than one Geni, the plural would be Genis'. Anyways, just a little picky thing. --Torourkeus 02:29, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"s's" isn't a valid word ending in English - the possessive form of any word ending in s is just s', while any plural NOT ending in s gets the full 's. - SoM 20:05, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Not true, "'s" following a singular case word ending in "s" is perfectly acceptable. Either "Genis's" or "Genis'" is correct English. I've found "'s" to be more common and thought "Genis'" would have been incorrect before I started on wikipedia, where the anti-s movement common. Impulse 11:37, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Marlo[edit]

It's kind of iffy whether to call her "Marlo Jones" or "Marlo Chandler". While she is married to rick, her name IS Marlo Jones. Anyway, what do you think? --Torourkeus 18:27, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've never seen an example of her using Rick's surname, even after they were married. - SoM 19:29, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Asguardians[edit]

Why were the asguardian's removed from the list of things Marv did while he was crazy? --Torourkeus 18:27, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

They weren't. The event was moved to after the events of CMv4 #6, as they should be.
Oh, and it was Cosmic Powers UNLIMITED. Don't remove that. - SoM 19:29, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
oh i c, ok cool. --Torourkeus 06:02, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Publication History is Awful[edit]

its more like more character hsitory with very little publication history in it. The peter david series was Genis' main series, and yet it doesnt say how long it ran for.
