Untitled[edit]

Two things that need fixing:

Quote "When demand for the Gennas' cheap rotgut booze outgrew demand, Henry Spignola (a lawyer whose sister Lucille would eventually marry Angelo Genna) devised a plan by which sills would be placed in all Little Italy households. The family would hire "sill watchers," who would earn $15 a day. The Gennas' power in Little Italy grew; they eventually backed the area's Republican Party boss, "Diamond Joe" Esposito, and had many policemen on their payroll."

As you can see, the article uses the word "demand" twice. This is obviously a typographical error. I would change it myself but cannot find the word that I know it needs changing to.

And secondly, I personally have no idea what "sills" are and what they do and how it was applied to the Genna family business. Others with far less knowledge of organized crime might find this hard to understand aswell. Maybe it would be appropriate to add more about the process.
