Map[edit]

@Another Believer: do you prefer this more labeled map to the more basic ones, like at Bicentennial Park? Do you have any comments on changes? I wish there was a way to put the map into a template and make some sort of parameter for it for each park, but that's beyond my expertise... ɱ (talk) 23:56, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

, I don't have a strong preference for one over the other. You can't really tell what the nearby features are unless you click on the map. Some people might like this, others might find unlabeled icons confusing. I'm into map frame, though, I just added to all articles for outdoor sculptures in Portland. ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:02, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well hopefully sometime maplink will stop displaying static maps in the articles and move to interactive, like at WikiVoyage. That would make labels visible when hovering or clicking. The advantage of the Genoa Park map is that otherwise the parks look like they span one entire stretch (or both stretches) of the river; this helps with boundaries as much as is possible. ɱ (talk) 00:05, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
