Notability, Primary Sources[edit]

This article is notable, but at present is only a stub. Scientific journals that are peer-reviewed are high-quality primary sources (cf. WP:V#Reliable_sources). And in general, Wikipedia needs information about peer-reviewed scientific journals (see also List of scientific journals, List of medical journals, etc. and see search list+journal.

The question then becomes, is this a good quality journal. Here are some facts about this particular journal:

It is supported by advertising (see [1])
Searching PubMed for "genome biology" returns 2181 references (so it's cited frequently)
It has an impact factor of 6.59, meaning articles published here are cited by others. It should be noted that this isn't always definitive (as some people game the system).
They ask submitters disclosed conflicts of interest.[2]
All BioMed Central journals are peer-reviewed.[3]
This journal has a particular review policy.[4]
