Telfair's history[edit]

In Western SL we read: "All of the land of what is now the upcoming Telfair community was once a prison farm land owned by the Texas Department of Transportation."

I don't know the facts, but suspect the land was owned by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice at the time it was a prison farm. Perhaps TxDOT acquired some of it later in planning for Hwy 99. As a minimum, the sentence may need to be reorganized. Irv (talk) 00:26, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Major work needed to this and parent article[edit]

This is not a travel brochure, it is a wikipedia article. It needs sources. There are 0 sources in this stub, and this has been an issue raised since 2009. I recommend deleting this article unless anyone provides citations. 204.65.34.204 (talk) 21:09, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
