'Welsh' footballer[edit]

He is introduced as a Welsh footballer but his birthplace Oswestry has been part of Shropshire, hence England, definitely since 1536 when the present Welsh-English border was delineated. I would not call him Welsh without evidence he was Welsh ethnically.Cloptonson (talk) 21:36, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
