Factual problem that I can't resolve[edit]

In the current version of the article it reads, "Oakes remained publisher until the paper was sold in 1913 to Cyrus H. K. Curtis" Several sources indicate that Curtis bought the paper in 1930. I don't think this can be resolved by simply changing the date, because the article also indicates that Oakes left the paper before WWI. ike9898 (talk) 20:47, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What sources are you looking at? The ones I've seen peg Curtis' purchase of the Public Ledger at 1913. He bought the Philadelphia Inquirer, a separate paper, in 1930. --D. Monack | talk 23:00, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
