Profile photo[edit]

I am aware of two photos of Wallington on Wikipedia/Commons. One is a non-free, fair use image I uploaded as Wallington's profile photo. Although low resolution, it is a good profile shot of the pianist. The other is a crop I made from a photo of Lionel Hampton's band on tour in 1953. Although Wallington is visible (barely) in the crop, the angle and quality of the photo make it almost unusable. Is it acceptable to maintain the fair use image as Wallington's profile photo under these circumstances? I have included a link to the Commons photo for reference.
