See also and External links[edit]

Hello again, Pshmagic (talk · contribs). I thought I'd respond here to your recent edit and why I thought to revert it (and remove two more external links).

First, concerning the five links under 'See Also'. You'll note that two of the links, Community Theatre and Georgetown, Ontario, are redundant as they are included in the text. While I recognize Halton Hills, Ontario as the regional municipality in which Georgetown is located, I'm not convinced that its inclusion is necessary. The presence of a link to Glen Williams, Ontario, one of many other communities located in Halton Hills, is left unexplained. Finally, I'd argue that the inclusion of Theatre isn't really of value.

I trimmed the many external links per Wikipedia's guidelines. The presence of these links is unexplained. Assuming that there is some relationship between these groups and Georgetown Little Theatre I should point out that amongst the links to be avoided are links to sites "that are only indirectly related to the article's subject: the link should be directly related to the subject of the article."

Again, I recommend reading the policy concerning conflict of interest guidelines.Victoriagirl (talk) 19:49, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
