Coach flag[edit]

Shouldnt there be a French flag next to Claude Saurel? I thought he was French? Narrasawa 03:39, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There was, he is and there is again. Somebody added some data to this page but also made wholesale deletions with no reason given. For some reason they put a Georgian flag next to a Frenchman. GordyB 16:32, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Second or Third Tier ?[edit]

From all the sources I found, I think Georgia is still a third tier rugby union nation.81.193.220.58 (talk) 16:41, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

After 8 years, when we thought Georgia was tier3, Lelos finished 3'd in World Cup 2015, pool C --GeoRugby (talk) 13:20, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"only eight rugby pitches"[edit]

This is highly dubious in the first place, and considering that the article used to source it is dated after revisions which include it, I'd say this is another case of the BBC cribbing nonsense from WP. If a better source can be found this can go back in. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 18:20, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I added it, it was commonly said in the British media at the time (including the BBC). It was taken from a copy of Rugby World that I had (and have subsequently thrown away). This is almost certainly not a case of a lazy hack copying from Wikipedia.GordyB (talk) 20:29, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Here are two articles from 2003 that mention this: [1], [2]. Korg (talk) 21:52, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wow. Well, if that's the case then I suppose this is worth reincluding. Still, it might be worth investigating if these five-year-old figures are still current. (and whether "eight rugby pitches" literally means what it says; there are more than that in my home town.) Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 08:45, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
