Whitewashing[edit]

In 1957, he was an unsuccessful candidate in the Republican primary for the nomination for the United States Senate, losing to Walter J. Kohler, Jr.. Lorge was the Republican nominee for Attorney General in 1974, losing to Bronson La Follette. In 1985 he ran for circuit judge in Outagamie County, coming in third of four candidates in the primary.[1]
In 2000, Lorge was fined for lewd behavior in an adult video store.[2]
