Relationship with Decca

I think that to describe the group's relationship with Decca as an "alliance" - certainly in the later years - misstates the position somewhat. The two parties were not on good terms - note the fracas over the sleeve of Beggars Banquet - and the group completed its contract with the company by giving it the unreleasable Cocksucker Blues. Check this: Liner notes to Criterion edition of "Gimme Shelter" author Stanley Booth, who traveled with the Stones on the 1969 tour, claims that the "Alabama road" mentioned in this article that Charlie Watts is filmed on is actually in Birmingham, UK, and not Birmingham, Alabama. Booth stresses the point, as if to dispel a common misconception: "We drove up to Birmingham - not Birmingham, Alabama." I have changed this in the article to reflect Booth's assertion. Guitar Hero 5 DLC code

I've seen the new 40th anniversary edition in vinyl format at a local retailer, with a sticker claiming that, apart from the DVD, it also includes a special code to download songs for Guitar Hero 5, which I guess it refers to the "The Rolling Stones Live Pack 01" DLC, the first released for the game.--BrowndRemastered (talk) 20:56, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

Double Album

Rolling Stone magazine ran an article just before the album was released, saying that "the English release of the album will be all and only Stones on a single album. A double set, incorporating Ike & Tina Turner and B. B. King, will be released in the States. Extra added attraction for the US set will be a book of photos by Ethan Russell".
