This article was based on the corresponding article at fishbase.org or niwascience.co.naz, neither of which are compatibly licensed for Wikipedia. Proposed move to "giant kōkopu"[edit]

The standard spelling of this name in DOC, NIWA, Te Ara, and all recent literature has become "giant kōkopu" with the macron. I've edited the article, explained why, and given references. I'd like to move the article to a new namespace and set up redirects from the old spelling, and then do the same with the other two kōkopu species.
