The current infobox is for the Les Paul Melody Maker[edit]

The current infobox shows information regarding the current Les Paul Melody Maker, and is not correct for the original Melody Maker. I do not have the correct information to add, nor do I know when the current LPMM was introduced.

Should I copy the current infobox to the Les Paul Melody Maker section and modify both, putting question signs where I don't know the correct information? Respectfully, SamBlob 19:14, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I found some information at http://www.gibson.com/Files/downloads/bluebook/GibsonElectrics.pdf and set up and added a Melody Maker infobox based on that. I also moved the Les Paul Melody Maker infobox to the Les Paul Melody Maker section. I still don't know when the LPMM was launched, though. Respectfully, SamBlob 19:39, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have a few Melody Makers including a 1980 MM KZ-II, these are quite rare. Melody Maker double-cutaway body, LP ( or Firebrand SG? ) style neck, tune-o-matic bridge and 2 dirty fingers humbuckers. Don't know how long or how many were made. I believe they were using parts up before shutting down the Kalamazoo plant. I'd like to add something to the page if I could get a little more info on these!! G3msp4 18:58, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
