My reason for the revert[edit]

If you click on the link in the External link section you will see that the small bio of Gladys Gillem states:

The oldest wrestler of her generation (and still proud of it).

There is noone left alive from the generations of wrestlers that proceeded hers. Therefore, she has to be the oldest living professional wrestler.

Its not a dubious claim. Its the truth and I've documented this as best I can.

If this still isn't good enough then I can accept that, but please give me the courtesy of telling me why. Stephen Day 22:14, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, that's just the publicity material for her. People like that make claims all the time, but this encyclopedia is supposed to have a neutral point of view. It's not even well known or verifiable if she is the oldest living pro wrestler, she is probably close, but it's just not the info that fits the principles here at wikipedia. I will revert it back, the age is wrong too, it doesn't fit the birthdate. Burgwerworldz 23:50, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What wrong with the birthdate. Her bio says she left home and started in the carnivals at age nineteen. Her bio also lists her career as starting in 1942 and ending in 1962. 42 minus 19 equals 23, that's how I figured out her birthdate. Stephen Day 00:49, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's fine now, but it was listed at 1933. Burgwerworldz 02:57, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oops sorrys that would have been a typo on my part that I jsut didn't notice -- sorry about that. Stephen Day 21:11, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
