Stupid Question[edit]

Why are the lengths of the songs blank? 10 of them were released as singles! And now DYTIS is on iTunes. Sooo... Yeah. 75.68.52.240 (talk) 20:32, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And can we put something about DYTIS being on iTunes before the full album? :') 75.68.52.240 (talk) 20:41, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Keep in mind that single lengths and album track lengths often differ: if nothing is added, the difference could be as little as a few seconds, but there is no confirmation for what the lengths of the tracks on this album are going to be. And do you have a source for that? There is no direct iTunes Store link, as it is a pre-order track. Yves (talk) 23:14, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Regular singles, maybe. By, like, a real artist. But, usually in the past the Glee songs stay the same as the singles. In fact, I seem to recall the Volume 4 tracks already having their lengths listed prior to the album's release. And if you go to iTunes and buy the song, there's a single cover for it, which is pink. And I know this isn't a reliable source, but: I'm pretty sure they were gonna use DYTIS insted of Animal for their performance in Sexy. It would've made so much more sense! 75.68.52.240 (talk) 14:26, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, that was because the track lengths were released on Amazon.com, and they're not up yet. I will add them when they are up on the site. Yes, that is usually the case, but I don't want to make assumptions. Yes, you are correct, but that is because the song is a pre-order track, meaning that if you pre-order the album, you receive that track instantly. You can see that it does not have its own URL, making it not possible to source, and that is because the item will be removed from the store when the album is released. The iTunes Store regularly has items like these. Yves (talk) 17:03, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ohhh okay! We'll wait until they're on Amazon, then. And I'm aware of this iTunes thing. I just think it's worth noting here. :) 75.68.52.240 (talk) 17:46, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Glee, The Music, Volume 6[edit]

Should we start a page for the album Glee: The Music, Volume 6 since it is confirmed? --> http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/04/glee-jonathan-groff-to-cover-adele-vol-6-tracklisting.html --tanderix-- —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.134.47.33 (talk) 12:13, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Typically, I tend to wait until there is some official confirmation from FOX: tracks names tend to change, or additional tracks not previously reported will appear on the final track listing. Also, the album has no release date yet and with very little information on future tracks, as well as minimal independent reliable sources, the album has yet to meet Wikipedia's general notability guideline. I'll keep an eye out on sources, and we'll see if more come up. Yves (talk) 15:44, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To-do[edit]

Chart Listings for the album need to be added....... I tried, but I kept messing it up! :/ Kanavb (talk) 08:39, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

They're already all listed under "Reception". Yves (talk) 15:30, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just saw them. Shouldn't the chart listings be in table form in their own section? That's what I've seen on album pages till now! I would not have found them had you not mentioned they were under "Reception". Kanavb (talk) 09:07, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Most of the time, yes, because there are many of them. When there are only a few, though, a table isn't warranted. Now I think there are enough now to have a table, but when a release is just beginning to chart, it's hardly necessary to have a table. I think most people on Wikipedia just expect it, because many articles are about popular releases, anyway, that have multiple chartings. Yves (talk) 17:12, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
