"Minions" heading change[edit]

I changed the topic "Minions" to "Servants" in order to add Doc to the list. Given that he does play a part in Glory's storyline and clearly serves the wishes of Glory he should be listed and linked to on this page. LazerBeem 08:33, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Two beasts?[edit]

There are two articles Glorificus and The Beast (Buffyverse). I don't know much about the series (I patrol Beast (disambiguation)). Are these two the same character. Are there two "The Beast"s in the buffyverse? Someone made a link to Glorificus from Beast (disambiguation), and I've changed it to The Beast (Buffyverse). So, that should be resolved there I think, either with a hatnote or something else. I won't be watching this page, but if you have any questions, let me know on my talk page or on the beast dab page. They are definitely different characters, but I would say that Glory is rarely called "the Beast," so linking to her from the beast disambiguation page would cause confusion. Before anyone else complains - yes, I know the monks call her "the Beast," but the Scooby Gang never does to my recollection and no one looking for information on her would search under "beast". --68.173.5.144 (talk) 07:05, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, I'm surprised that Josh Whedon didnt think about naming Glory as a planeswalker and "The Key" to be an ancient artifact that draws power from the last dimension it was used in to open a portal to other dimensions. The only reason that artifact would be too powerful is because it has the capability of permanently creating planar overlays between dimensions. Evil planeswalkers would be the only ones to do this type of destruction. Therefore, the story shouldve changed to where a "Good" planeswalker was the one that banished Glory to the earth realm while not realizing that Glory had implanted the artifact in the earth realm protected by some order so she could someday return if she was actually defeated. (Planeswalkers always have a secondary defense in case the impossible happens) The planeswalker that banished Glory, lets call him Urza, then easily defeated the other 2 and left that certain dimension as most evolved planeswalkers are able to traverse between dimensions without mechanical devices such as "The Key" Therefore, it shouldve been Urza's essence was temparily contained within Giles, which would kill Ben as only a planeswalker are able to kill another planeswalker. This wouldve been my ending to that season as it makes more sense! >.> ----Arkitan September 2012

Glorificus (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) → Glory (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) — Glory is the name most commonly used in the series, harmonizes with the rest of the pages. Also, I screwed up an initial move (forgot to change Glorificus to Glory) and as Hqb mentions - the current situation is the worst of both worlds. I agree on both policy and in universe grounds with his comments (and if I were smarter, would have used them myself in my move request). Support. "Glorificus" was only used by her minions (and inconsistently at that); everyone else referred to her as Glory. A redirect should remain, of course. "Glorificus (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)" is the worst of both worlds: no need to disambiguate if there are no other significant uses of "Glorificus" in Wikipedia. Little Miss Muffet[edit]

Should there be something in here about Glory being Little Miss Muffet? Since someone refers to Dawn Summers as "curds and whey", that would suggest that Glory (who wants to "eat" Dawn) is Little Miss Muffet, and that it is she (not Buffy nor Dawn) that is "counting down to 730" - the date when she can return home 82.43.243.26 (talk) 00:01, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Should be something here about Christian parallels.
