Tone[edit]

No, it is not a "pastoral refuge": it is neither pastoral, nor a refuge. Gnomes do not "go missing": They don't "go" anywhere. It is not "also home to pixies": Mythical creatures do not have homes.

Rather, this is a kitschy tourist attraction. Occasionally, statues are stolen or otherwise lost. As for the pixies, I'm guessing there are also other garden decorations there. Otherwise, it's a case for professional help.
