GOD BLESS THE BROKEN ROAD-THE MOVIE[edit]

As a retired military man, I kind of wish that when film producers make a movie involving military, they would consult someone like myself. The woman loses her husband in Afghanistan. The next thing you know, she's LOSING HER HOUSE! How does that happen, when ALL active duty military are automatically insured. I retired in 98. When I first enlisted in 81, we ALL were automatically insured to $150,000 if we die. They raised that amount to $250,000 toward the end of my career, if I'm not mistaken. In which case, she would have gotten the money and paid the house off. Just sayin'. Retiredsquid (talk) 15:42, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
