FYI: All "Legend" references to Goodleberg Cemetery have been impossible to verify, as there has never been a Doctor's residence, office, or property withing THOUSANDS of yards from the cemetery boudaries. Furthermore, the pond behind the cemetery was dug (created) in 2001, and there have been NO strange "unearthings" in or around the pond (or on the property for that matter) since the current owner purchased the property in the 1950's. The exhumation of the infant's body is true however, and led to one of countless arrests at the site.

Currently (as of October 2006) the policy is as follows: The cemetery closes at dusk (sunset) and re-opens at 8am, as do all Town owned and maintained parks and cemeteries. The town's policy is to charge anyone and everyone with trespassing if they are found on the cemetery at night. The property owners are also notifying the Sheriff and State police of all trespassing violations. Anyone caught on the private property around the cemetery face far more severe penalties than cemetery trespassers.

The cemetery has a rule sign and is posted. The private surroundings are posted. Removal or destruction of these signs is vandalism and destruction of property.

The ONLY mysterious occurrences result from trespassers and late night visitors. These incessant invaders risk life and limb to "look for ghosts." How many more people must DIE before the trespassing and late night ruckus stops? Trustworthiness:

Spelling is terrible[edit]

I went to this cemetery last year, and a sign at the entrance spelled it “b-e-r-g,” which matches the name of the road where the cemetery is located. Can we update the spelling? LeonardoMelchior (talk) 15:01, 28 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

My experience[edit]

I went to the cemetery a few years ago after being a local for years and hearing stories I just wanted to see what the hype was about and it was worth it I guess. When I got there I saw a black suv on the side of the road and it appeared nobody was inside but nobody was outside either so that was weird. When I walked around the cemetery It felt eerie thinking of the mothers and children but there were no noises or sightings of anything paranormal.
