Brindavana Saranga[edit]

Brindavana Saranga uses N2 in the descending scale (kaishiki nishadham). There is no such equivalent in other ragams (use of two different swaras in their scale - one in ascending and one in descending) - hence they are not considered as Graha bhedham of Brindavana Saranga. Also, various people have researched about these and clearly written papers on this subject. They do not associate Brindavana Saranga with these 5 ragas in terms of Graha bhedham. Raag Jog is such an equivalent, because it uses both Ga. Brindavani Sarang is Jog from Pa (i.e.Jog's Pa becomes Brindabani Sarang's Sa).
