Janice Burton[edit]

Janice Burton deserves an inclusion as well as her own article. The problem is that I cannot substantiate the claim that she has won 23 medals (noted here). I can confirm 20 medals but I assume the other three came from relay events where the participants have not been recorded - GB certainly got into the medals a few times. Other sources are very hard to come by. violet/riga [talk] 14:44, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think Janice should be added as having 20 medals for now but with a note to the effect above Fmountford (talk) 23:09, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
But its not clear where she would sit, having 5 golds, 10 Silver and 5 Bronze Fmountford (talk) 14:45, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Medals by individuals[edit]

I dont see the point in this section, perhaps it would be worth clarifying its purpose which only shows 5 athletes when we have many more medal winning athletes, its nature implies that we should have every single medal winning athlete of all time listed on this page.

There is also Jade Etherington and guide Caroline Powell who are the most successful GB Winter Paralympians in history following Sochi 2014 plus Kelly Gallagher and Charlotte Evans who won GBs first ever Winter Gold, in my view you cannot quantify winning a quantity of summer medals with a certain quantity of winter medals due to the complete difference in nature of the games and GBs chances in either perhaps we need to have a Winter and a summer table. Fmountford (talk) 15:47, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should split into a summer table and winter table - so we would need to add a table for the athletes you have mentioned. Also, I removed the bold formatting from Lee Pearson and Sarah Storey, because there was no explanation for it, but if someone knew why there was bold, then we can replace it in the article, with an explanation. 97rob (talk) 19:55, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, i have added a Winter table, I was wondering whether it should be a top 5 or top 10 table Fmountford (talk) 20:14, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The summer table appears to include those who have won over 10 gold medals. We should probably have a top 5 table, which would amount to ten athletes over the two tables, if you can find the information from past games? 97rob (talk) 20:30, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have found 5 for now, leave it for that for a moment, can evolve over time.Fmountford (talk) 21:05, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
