Merge[edit]

For some reason, I can't get the Wiki-link to work in the merge template. Here's the link to the relevant article: Great Falls of the Potomac River.~ (The Rebel At) ~ 12:55, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I say no. The article clearly states Great Falls Park, operated by the National Park Service, is located on the southern banks in Virginia, while Chesapeake and Ohio Canal parkland is located along the northern banks of the river, in Maryland. - so GFP only covers 1/2 the entity. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 18:27, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Technically, the Potomac is entirely within Maryland, at least in that region, so Great Falls Park itself has none of the waterfalls within it's boundaries. So, I opppose a merge as well...but no reason we can't link the articles together better and make a few clarifications.--MONGO 18:59, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
