WRONG![edit]
I attended a game between the Generals and the Charlotte Checkers at the Greensboro Colosseum in the early Sixties. This article CANNOT be right in its claim that the Generals existed only from 1999-2004. Altgeld (talk) 19:53, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
- this article is about the ECHL team however it does state that "The 'Generals' name was originally used by the city's Eastern Hockey League and Southern Hockey League franchises. The EHL team played from 1959 through 1972, and the SHL team played from 1973 through the league's mid-season failure in 1977." as they are not the same teams only that they are sharing the same name much like the Charlotte Checkers this article is correct. Each incarnation could most likely have it's own entry like: Charlotte Checkers (1956–1977), Charlotte Checkers (1993–2010), and Charlotte Checkers (2010–) only none have been created.--Mo Rock...Monstrous (leech44) 20:18, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
