Griffintown Horse Palace defunct[edit]

Walked past the site this week and it has been bulldozed. The article needs to be updated to the past tense. Unless it's somehow going to be restored at another location. --Cornellier (talk) 03:19, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Really? Not that I doubt your word, but can you point to a single reliable source? All I see are news refs suggesting it's still there. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 03:44, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well I checked for refs before I posted the above. I was surprised too when I happened to walk past on the way to work. There are pictures of the beginning of it being dismantled/demolished [1] and [2] talks about a need to "rebuild" the stables. Dunno, when is a stable not a stable? --Cornellier (talk) 02:53, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This article may not be notable[edit]

See WP:N --Cornellier (talk) 03:19, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Of course it is. This article has four WP:RS and there are lots more. Shawn in Montreal (talk).
Fair enough. I just get the feeling that it's WP:NOT#NEWS. Yes, it's symbolic of many things, but the building and operation itself weren't that interesting in themselves. Anyway if it lives on through the Griffintown Horse Palace Foundation then clearly it is notable. --Cornellier (talk) 02:53, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
