Could someone please provide the phonetic pronunciation of this name? GWA-lay? Goo-ALE? Goo-ah-LAY? GWALE? 97.102.30.205 (talk) 14:08, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
- "Guale" is the way the Spanish transcribed the name in the 16th century, so "Gwa-lay" would be my guess, but I do not think we can authoritatively state the native pronunciation. - Donald Albury 17:59, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
