Guangming or Gongming? Or Guangming AND Gongming?!?!?!?[edit]

I hope someone here with actual Chinese knowledge can clear this up. Are these two misspellings of the same word (like the old Hangchow and Hangzhou) or are they two different, but equal status places, or is one inside the other (like Xixiang is inside Bao'an)? I am speaking of the area that had the 2015 landslide, I will be doing business in factories there and it is one of the only areas of Shenzhen I don't know well and can't find much information about. They are not the same. Seems like there is a Guangming New District (this article), under which is a Guangming Subdistrict (same name) and a Gongming Subdistrict (different name). _dk (talk) 03:33, 6 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's no longer Guangming New District or Guangming New Area (光明新区) the MCA has officially registered the district as Guangming District (光明区). @Shwangtianyuan:, I suggest, in the future, you nominate any redirects that stand in your way for WP:G6. — ASDFGH (talk?) 20:59, 26 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
