I did not mean the Surrey article, but the Guildford one - breaking down Surrey into districts is fine and good, but when the district is seemingly as small and with not much to say for itself as Guildford then perhaps the article could be merged with the main Surrey one? Well, Cloverdale is historically significent so there's a difference here. However, I am in favor of articles about districts and neighborhoods within cities, if they have the potential to be expanded. I think a Guildford article has potential here, but we're going to need someone who can either do some research about the area or someone who lives there. Buchanan-H e rmit™..SCREAM!!!..

I agree. I no longer live in Surrey, so can only contribute with what I find on the Internet; hence why I created only a stub. There are areas that can still be expanded (demographics, amenities, education, history, etc). --Kmsiever 02:27, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I believe we should keep this article and expand it. If Guildford, Surrey, UK can have one, so should the one in Canada. Just because the Guildford in Canada is younger than the one in UK does not mean we should not expand upon it. As long as the article is based on facts, I say keep it.

Guildford (town centre) → ? – Is this a good form of disambiguation. It could be confused with the towns in Surrey and Victoria. It was at Guildford Town Centre until last year. Guildford Town Centre is the name of a local mall, so it's not a good choice. The city of Surrey does not have multiple "towns", it uses the term "town centre" to signify various communities inside of the incorporated city.

Langley has two separate legal municipalities, a city and a township. Since there are multiple locations with the name of Langley, another disambiguator is needed, and in that case, the province is used. That's not needed for "town centres" in Surrey as there are usually only two, one in England and the other in Surrey.

Support Guildford, British Columbia I absolutely agree with In ictu oculi, I'd spend ages wandering what to do with this, but had assumed it was part of a larger settlement called Guildford in Canada but it isn't! The other Surrey BC neighborhoods like Newton, Surrey do use "Surrey" to disambiguate but since Guildford, Surrey already goes to the PT for the base name Guildford. Guildford, British Columbia seems like the best (and simplest per Walter Görlitz). Either Guildford (town centre) should redirect to Guildford (disambiguation) or go straight to Guildford but presumably Guildford Town Centre should continue to redirect to the Canadian place but maybe that should go to the DAB to.
