Fascinating horse. Mercer rode him to most of his good victories early in his career (think he also rode him in the Dante), so it wasn't a surprise when he was sent to Cecil. Have some more detail on Gunner B and will look it up. Admirable horse.(Victor Middlesex (talk) 09:14, 24 July 2014 (UTC)).
