Notability[edit]

Not that the men and women of the armed services are notable for their valor and courage, but is this sufficiently notable for an article? He was an ensign then enlisted which is a little odd. But does he warrant an encyclopedia article? Dachande (talk) 17:21, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ensign Bebas was the namesake of the USS Bebas (DE-10). That is definitely an assertion of notability.DarkAudit (talk) 23:43, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
