Removal of career statistics[edit]

That sudden removal was rather shocking. Was there a reference needed tag that I missed? Presumably though, with assists removed from the stats, the content should be easily sourced. finval (talk) 20:53, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why it was removed, if it is upto date and matches the external link, citation addition isn't needed. So you can return it. Govvy (talk) 21:28, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's mostly correct, except that his last 3 games hadn't been added and the assists hadn't been properly updated. So I readded the whole thing, updated the recent matches and removed the assists entirely. I mean, is it necessary to display the assists in the statistics? They're referenced in one of the external links, but the numbers there didn't really match the numbers given in this article, as people probably often forgot to update them properly. finval (talk) 16:45, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I also suggest moving the soccerbase.com external link to note above or below the actual table. I personally would remove the international goals table, I consider that overkill. Govvy (talk) 16:53, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I moved the links, but the international goals thing is a common thing on these kind of articles, as opposed to the assists in the statistics (which I've only seen on this page), so I at least won't remove the international goals for now. It could be better to make them collapsible though. finval (talk) 12:03, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I was going to suggest collaspable for Robbie Keane, but the whole table got removed and I left it out as I always thought it was over the top on statistics and there is a rule that wiki isn't suppose to be a collection of statistics. 12:07, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

Reference for lead section[edit]

I'm not sure if this reference is good enough, but if so it's here to be added:

Set-piece specialist, according to liverpoolscout.com finval (talk) 14:56, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There is no link to Swansea City A.F.C. in the lead paragraph. You need to change "After a season back in English football with Swansea" to "After a season back in English football with Swansea City". 86.159.82.100 (talk) 08:17, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, looks like someone else has added a source in but at least what you said was true. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 20:37, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
